Mission Darts is delighted to announce a multi-year contract extension with the reigning JDC world champion Lex Paeshuyse.
The teenager joined the Mission Academy in June 2024 and has made huge strides in the last nine months, becoming the first player from Belgium to win the JDC World Championship and WDF Boys’ World Masters titles.
Paeshuyse made history last December when he became the youngest ever JDC world champion at just 13 years of age, beating Daniel Stephenson in an all-Mission Academy final that was played on the famous Alexandra Palace stage.
The Belgian has added to his trophy collection this year with two titles in his debut season playing on the JDC Advanced Tour, winning Events 1 and 5 to sit in second place in the ranking table.
🗣️ "I'm very proud of myself!"

“It really boosts my confidence knowing that if there is something wrong I can always contact them and there will be a solution. I’m looking forward to more years with Mission.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “I’m happy that Lex has put his trust in us and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this amazingly talented and humble young man.
“It was a proud moment for the Mission Academy to be at the Ally Pally last December to watch Lex and Daniel play in the JDC world final. There are so many exciting players with so much potential in our academy and I can’t wait to see what they can go on to achieve next.”
🇧🇪🌎 Congratulations to Lex Paeshuyse who won the JDC World Championship earlier today.
