Mission Darts is thrilled to announce the signing of rising Spanish star Almudena Fajardo.
The 26-year-old has made some big strides over the last 12 months, reaching the finals of the ladies singles in both the WDF Europe Cup and World Masters.
Fajardo will be making history in December when she becomes the first player from Spain to compete in the WDF Women’s World Championship at Lakeside.
Almudena said: “I’m very grateful for this opportunity to join Mission. I want to say thank you to everyone for their support and I can’t wait to be a part of the team.
"I’m looking forward to playing in the World Championships later this year and representing Mission there makes it even better!”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s Player Development Manager, added: “I’m delighted to have Almudena joining the team at Mission. She is a player who I believe can go a long way in the ladies’ game and has already made two big finals in the WDF system, and when she has played in the PDC Women’s Series she has had some great runs getting to a semi-final and a quarter-final.”
