Mission Darts is pleased to announce the signing of the emerging Belgian young talent Wannes van Heck.
The 16-year-old from Aalst has made a promising start to 2026, with runs to the semi-finals and quarter-finals at JDC Euro Q-School last month.
‘WVH’ narrowly missed out on a tour card to play on this year’s JDC Advanced Tour, finishing one place outside of the tour card spots on the ranking table by legs difference.
Van Heck also caught the eye during his trip to England this week, reaching the final of a local competition in Bolton, where he lost out in a last-leg decider to the former PDC World Darts Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd.
On signing for Mission, van Heck said: “I'm so happy and thankful for the chance Mission has given me. I hope to become better in the future with the help and support of Mission behind me."

Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “Wannes is a very talented young player who I first became aware of through Mike De Decker.
“Mike said his friend Ludo was coaching Wannes and Mike had practiced with him a few times. We decided to help and see if we could take Wannes to the next level by signing him up to the Mission Academy.”
