Mission are delighted to extend their partnership with The Ethan King Fund for Ewing Sarcoma Research as its official charity partner.
The Ethan King Fund was founded in memory of Ethan King, an enthusiastic and passionate young darts fan, who passed away in March 2025.
The fund is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust and was created to raise awareness and vital funds for life-saving research for Ewing sarcoma, a form of primary bone cancer which affects young people.
Ethan was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2018, at just nine years old, and over the next seven years he faced many rounds of treatment and surgeries but sadly passed on 13th March 2025, just weeks before his 16th birthday.

Clara King, Ethan’s mum, said: “Ethan was such a joy to be around. He discovered his love for darts after watching the World Championships at Alexandra Palace during Christmas 2023.
“Due to the impact endless rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and four surgeries had on Ethan’s body, he was unable to participate in physical sports. However darts was something he could actively play and compete in.
“He joined a local darts team and soon became a key member, well-loved, and a high performing team player. Even while underdoing cancer treatment, and at the end of the season he picked up two trophies, one for the highest checkout, which was 130, and the other for players’ player of the season.
“He was always playing darts at home or with his friends and had an amazing collection of darts.”

The continued partnership will see £5 of every set sold of the Mission Olly Croft Limited Edition Darts donated to The Ethan King Fund.
Joe Croft, the grandson of Olly Croft and a Team Mission player, said: "We couldn't think of a better cause to donate to as it fits in to what we are doing with the Olly Croft Centre of Excellence.
"With Ethan being only 15 when he passed away, and my nan passing from a different form of cancer, it hits home and we hope that this donation can help as much as possible."
Leah Holmes, Regional Relationship Manager at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, shared: “From everything I have heard about Ethan, it is clear that he was a truly special boy with a real love of darts.
“The extended partnership with Mission would have meant so much to him, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone at Mission for their continued support of The Ethan King Fund for Ewing Sarcoma Research.
“We would also like to express sincere appreciation to Olly Croft’s family for their generosity and for supporting The Ethan King Fund through the sale of the Olly Croft Limited Edition Darts.
“Funds raised in Ethan’s memory play a vital role in improving outcomes for those affected by Ewing sarcoma, while also helping to raise awareness of primary bone cancer.”
