Mission Darts is pleased to announce the signing of former Canadian youth national champion Kayla Smith.
The 20-year-old has been a dominant force in the youth ranks in Canada, becoming senior girls national champion in 2023 and finishing runner-up in her title defence earlier this year.
The Kingston, Ontario thrower has already made a seamless transition from youth to adult darts in Canada, winning several titles and reaching a ranking event final.
Smith recently made the trip overseas to take part in the WDF World Masters in Hungary, where she reached the last 16 in the women's event and came close to qualifying for Lakeside, losing out in the final eight of the qualifiers.
On signing for Mission, she said: "I am so beyond excited to be signing with Mission. I know with a team and company like this, there aren't any of my goals I can't reach.
"I am so grateful, not only for this opportunity for myself but also the opportunity for the whole North American dart community to keep growing by the day. This is a beginning for things so much bigger than I could have imagined."
Darryl Fitton, Mission's player development manager, added: "I'm delighted to welcome Kayla to Team Mission. She's a young player who has had a lot of success at a youth level in Canada and is now achieving great things in the senior ranks too.
"Darts in North America is on the up with the standard growing all the time. I'm looking forward to working with Kayla to help her achieve her next goals in the game."
