Alan Soutar has enjoyed a remarkable rise in the PDC since winning his tour card. The proud Scot spent a decade representing his country while under the old BDO regime, winning gold in the 2013 WDF World Cup.

The former Scotland captain made the jump over to the PDC in 2021 and won his tour card at the first attempt. ‘Soots’ caught the eye with a run to the quarter-finals of the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts, in-between two last 16 appearances in the PDC World Championship.

In 2024, Soutar won his first PDC title, beating Daryl Gurney in a last-leg decider to clinch the Players Championship 11 crown in Germany.
