Michele Turetta is making big strides for darts in Italy with his performances on the oche and is now testing his skills on the PDC circuit.

‘Il Ture’ made history in January 2024 when he became the first PDC tour card holder from Italy, with a semi-final run on the final day of European Q-School helping him to secure a two-year tour card.

The Vicenza native wrote his name into the Italian darts history books a year earlier, as he teamed up with Massimo Dante in the 2023 PDC World Cup of Darts and clinched the country’s first-ever win in the competition.

The following year Turetta partnered up with Massimo Dalla Rosa and the Italians broke even more ground with a run to the World Cup quarter-finals, knocking out former winners Australia 8-7 before losing in a last-leg decider to Belgium.
