Francesco Basili is one of Italy’s brightest darting prospects and has impressed in numerous tournaments across Europe.

The youngster started playing darts at the age of 11 back in 2018 and a year later made four finals at Alan Soutar’s Angus Darts Academy, winning two of them.

Closer to home, 'Ice Boy' reached the semi-finals of the 2020 Italian Lazio Regional Masters, while also winning three regional Grand Prix titles.

The Italian made several deep runs in youth events across Europe in 2022, including the semi-finals of the Denmark Masters and Belfry Open, before opening his WDF youth ranking title account with victories in the 2024 Italian Open and Malta Masters.
