Thomas Junghans put Switzerland on the darts map with a run to the semi-finals of the 2015 World Masters.

‘TJ’ racked up wins against Wesley Harms, Danny Noppert and Jamie Hughes on his way to the last four, where his run ended at the hands of the then BDO number one Glen Durrant.

The German-born thrower has been competing at the international level for many years, and in 2022 he represented Switzerland in the PDC World Cup of Darts for the first time.

A trophy-laden 2023 saw Junghans pick up four WDF ranking titles, including the Swedish Open, before making the quarter-finals in his second appearance in the WDF World Championships at the Lakeside.
