Recap - Self Crowned JDC Advanced Tour Champion

A big congratulations to Mission Academy star Archie Self on being crowned the JDC Advanced Tour champion for 2024.

The 14-year-old won four titles during the season to finish top of the rankings and will now captain England A at the JDC World Cup in Gibraltar later this year.

Self will be joined in the England team by Mission Academy’s Kieran Thompson, who finished fourth in the final rankings. An impressive season for Jack Marshall saw him add a third title to his collection on Saturday and finish in fifth place.

Marshall made history as the first player since Thompson in 2022 to win three Advanced Tour events in a row, with the 13-year-old beating Thompson 6-4 in the final of Event 13 to complete the hat-trick.

Well done to Team Mission’s Rhian O’Sullivan on winning the first ever Women’s Week at the MODUS Super Series on Saturday.

The Welsh star saw off Fallon Sherrock with a 13 darter in the decider of the final to clinch the title and with it a spot in Series 8 of the weekly competition.

Team Mission’s Oskar Lukasiak reached his second final of the PDC Nordic & Baltic Tour season in Finland on Sunday.

The Swede lost out 6-3 to PDC tour card holder Jeffrey de Graaf in the final of Event 6, and sits third on the Order of Merit with four events to go.

Elsewhere, Connor Scutt and Matthew Edgar both enjoyed runs to the semi-finals on the WDF circuit at the weekend.

Scutt, the newly-crowned Denmark Open champion, got to the final four of the Swiss Open on Saturday, whilst Edgar made the semi-finals of the Helvetia Open on Sunday.
