Bobby Becomes Part Of The Mission Academy

Mission Darts is delighted to announce the signing of the exciting young talent Bobby Haste.

The 11-year-old has made a big impression on the Yorkshire darts scene in the last six months, earning promotion to Division One in the Yorkshire Darts Club (YDC) system.

The Bradford youngster only took up darts in January 2024 after receiving a dartboard for his 10th birthday and less than a month later had thrown his first 180.

After winning the youth title on his YDC debut in November last year, Haste tasted more success with tournament victories in Division Two and Division One and currently sits inside the top 10 in the Division One rankings.

On signing for Mission, Haste said: “It’s great to be a part of Team Mission. I couldn’t have got here without my mum and dad and Decca (Derek Lumley) and the support they have given me.

“I’ve only been playing in competitions since September but I’ve already gained a lot of experience, and with the support of Mission behind me I’m excited to see where I can go from here.”

Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “When I first watched Bobby, I was impressed straight away. Win or lose he would go straight back on the oche and practice.

“He obviously loves the game and has lots of confidence. He’s come a long way in a little over 12 months and if he puts in the hard work and listens to the right people then who knows what Bobby can achieve.”
