Mission Darts is thrilled to announce the signing of Latvia’s number one Madars Razma.
The 35-year-old has helped put his country on the darting map with his success on the oche during the last decade.
After qualifying for the Lakeside three times between 2014 and 2016, ‘Razmatazz’ switched over to the PDC in 2017 where he has continued to make even more strides.
A quarter-finalist at the 2022 World Grand Prix and a three-time Players Championship finalist, Razma broke into the world’s top 32 last year and was a seed for the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship.
On signing for Mission, he said: “I started playing darts as an amateur and within 10 years I have become a professional. Every season step by step I’ve got better and better, but last year I realised that I needed to change something.
“I believe that signing with Mission will allow me to achieve new dreams in darts. Yes, I have more experience now, but this will still be a massive challenge for me because my ambitions in darts are still high!
“Part of my choices in life are determined by the people around me and I know that together with the team at Mission we will succeed! Thanks to Darryl and the whole team for believing in me. My new Mission in darts starts today!”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “Madars is a player I have known for a long time since during his BDO days. I have watched him progress over the years and his dedication and commitment is second to none. It’s one of the reasons why we tried hard to get him to join Mission, and I’m pleased to have him with us as part of the team."
