Mission are honoured to announce The Ethan King Fund for Ewing Sarcoma Research as its next official charity partner.
The Ethan King Fund was founded in memory of Ethan King, an enthusiastic and passionate young darts fan, who passed away earlier this year.
The fund is a Special Fund of the Bone Cancer Research Trust and was created to raise awareness of Ewing sarcoma, a form of primary bone cancer which mainly affects young people, and to raise vital funds for life-saving research.
Ethan was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2018, at just nine years old, and over the next seven years he faced many rounds of treatment and surgeries but sadly passed away on 13th March 2025, aged 15.

Clara King, Ethan’s mum, said: “Ethan was such a happy, fun and intelligent boy and made all aspects of life with family and friends more enjoyable with his endless enthusiasm.
“In the last few years of his life, he became obsessed with darts and quickly learnt who all the top players were, what darts they used, the length of their points and what type of stems and flights they had.
“He was also an active member of a local darts team, even while underdoing cancer treatment and at the end of the season he picked up two trophies, one for the highest checkout, which was 130, and the other for players’ player of the season.
“He played as often as he could and if he wasn’t playing he was watching darts or talking about darts or buying darts. He has an amazing collection, and he loved hitting 180s and took a photo of each one.”

Mike De Decker, the 2024 World Grand Prix champion, commented: "I'm very proud to be supporting The Ethan King Fund with the release of my limited-edition darts from Mission.
"I never got to meet Ethan personally, but I heard he was a very passionate darts fan and loved to play and watch whenever he got the chance to. When the team at Mission told me about Ethan and the fund created in his memory, I was happy to choose it as the charity to raise money for through my new darts."
The partnership will see £5 of every set sold of the Mission Mike De Decker Limited Edition Darts donated to The Ethan King Fund.
Leah Holmes, Regional Relationship Manager at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, shared: "After speaking with Ethan's family, it's clear that he was a special boy, full of enthusiasm for life and a huge darts fan. They told us the partnership with Mission would have meant a great deal to him. We're deeply grateful for their support of The Ethan King Fund.
"We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Mike De Decker for choosing The Ethan King Fund and raising vital funds through the sale of his new darts.
"Every donation made in Ethan's memory helps to improve our outcomes for people affected by Ewing sarcoma, while also raising much-needed awareness of primary bone cancer."
