Lex Paeshuyse won a title and reached another final on his debut weekend competing on the JDC Advanced Tour.

The Junior Darts Corporation’s premier circuit got under way with the first four events of the 2025 season in Coventry last weekend.

The 2024 JDC world champion enjoyed a winning debut as he picked up the Event 1 title, beating Ryan Branley 6-3 in the final.

The 13-year-old Belgian posted a 100.60 average in his quarter-final success over Nico Bado, and averaged 92.59 in the title decider against Branley.

Kyle Davidson also reached the quarter-finals of Event 1, whilst Paeshuyse and last year’s JDC World Championship runner-up Daniel Stephenson made the semi-finals of Event 2.

The 2024 Advanced Tour overall winner Archie Self appeared in back-to-back quarter-finals in Events 2 and 3, which leaves him in seventh place on this year’s rankings.

Paeshuyse sits in second place after he signed off his debut weekend on the tour with a run to the final of Event 4, where he was edged out 6-5 in a deciding leg by Gibraltar’s Bado.

Paeshuyse threw a 90-plus average in a 5-2 win over Tergel Khurelkhuu, whilst Self averaged 95 in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Jack Nankervis.
