Soots Becomes Player Ambassador At Mission

Mission Darts is thrilled to announce a multi-year contract extension with Alan Soutar in a new player ambassador role.

‘Soots’ signed with Team Mission in February 2021 and for the last four years has been competing against the world’s best players on the PDC tour.

The Scotland international reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 Grand Slam of Darts, along with a pair of last 16 runs at the PDC World Darts Championship.

Last year, Soutar won his first PDC title at Players Championship 11 and made his third appearance at Alexandra Palace in December, which earned him a fifth consecutive year on the PDC ProTour.

On re-signing with Mission in a new expanded role, Soutar said: “To sign another long contract with Mission is brilliant. I'm really happy at Mission.

"To be asked to become an ambassador for Mission is really cool and for them to think of me in that way. I'll be getting more involved more with the company and promoting Mission. I'm really happy to sign up for that role as well."

Mission’s player development manager Darryl Fitton added: “This is a major boost for Mission to have Alan extend his contract with us, and to have him as an ambassador means so much.

“It’s not only great for the brand, but for the players at Team Mission and in the Mission Academy as well. We’re delighted to have Alan representing us as an ambassador and I’m sure he will continue to be a role model for the players coming up through the ranks as well.”
