Mission Darts is pleased to announce a contract extension with JDC Advanced Tour title winner Daniel Stephenson.
The 16-year-old first joined the Mission Academy in 2022 and has made his mark in the youth ranks, reaching a semi-final on his first weekend on the PDC Development Tour earlier this year.
The Whitley Bay teenager picked up his first title on the JDC Advanced Tour this season, and finished eighth in the final rankings, before going on to secure a spot in the England B team for the upcoming JDC World Cup of Darts in Gibraltar.
Last month, Stephenson made his debut in the MODUS Super Series where he picked up three wins during his Group C campaign.
On signing a new deal with Mission, Stephenson said: “I’m delighted to be extending my contract with Mission.
“They’ve played a key role in supporting me and helping me become a better player over the last two years. I look forward to progressing further with Mission’s continued support.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “I’m delighted that Daniel has agreed to continue his darting journey with Mission. His progress over the last two years has been great to see and I know he’s got a bright future ahead.
“Daniel has kicked on this year winning a title on the JDC Advanced Tour and getting to a semi-final on the Development Tour. I can’t wait to see what he can go on to achieve on the oche in the next few years.”
