Mission Darts is pleased to announce the signing of new PDC tour card holder Rhys Griffin.
The 27-year-old from Wales, who now lives in Bolton, won his first PDC tour card following an impressive week at the recent UK Q-School.
The former Welsh youth international has been playing within the PDC system since 2015 and reached two finals during his time on the Development Tour.
Griffin now joins the professionals on the PDC ProTour for the next two years, after finishing seventh on the final UK Q-School Order of Merit last month.
On signing for Mission, he said: “I would like to thank my family and friends for all of their support. I’m excited to be joining the team at Mission and to have their support behind me. I can’t wait to get started with my tour card on the ProTour next week and to see what the next few years will bring.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “Rhys is a player with a lot of potential and I’m delighted to have him on board with us at Mission. He impressed us all during Q-School to win his PDC tour card and I’m looking forward to working with him on this next, exciting chapter in his darting career.”
A PERFECT DAY FOR GRIFFIN!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
