Mission Darts is delighted to announce the signing of England youth international Thomas Banks.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene with a run to the fourth round of the UK Open last year, after qualifying through the Riley’s Qualifiers.
Based in Sawbridgeworth, the teenager has caught the eye with victories on the JDC and WDF youth circuits. He has also tasted success whilst representing his country in World Cups and Europe Cups over the last two years.
Thomas said: “Signing for Mission is a big step forward for me. I have been working really hard recently, putting in the hours on the practice board.
“I can’t wait to get started with Mission and I would like to thank them for this opportunity. It means the world to me.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s Player Development Manager, added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Thomas to Team Mission. He is a young player I have kept an eye on for a while and he has always impressed me whenever I have watched him play.
“Thomas showed everyone his potential at the UK Open last year, playing in his first PDC major event at the age of 16 and facing Gerwyn Price on the main stage. I can’t wait to work with Thomas and help him continue his progress in the game.”
