Mission Darts is pleased to announce the signing of the Isle of Man Classic Youth champion Ethan Baines.
The 15-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to 2025, winning his first WDF youth ranking title in the Isle of Man last month.
The Runcorn teenager checked out a match-winning finish of 101 to beat Kaya Baysal 5-2 in the final, on a weekend where he also caught the eye with a run to the quarter-finals in the Isle of Man Masters men’s event.

‘Ballistic’ also appeared in his first final on the JDC Foundation Tour in February, winning seven matches and coming through a field of 200 players to reach the Event Two final.
On signing for Mission, he said: “I’m really pleased to join Mission and to be a part of the Mission Academy.
“Darryl (Fitton) and the rest of the team at Mission give the best support for young players, and you can see that with the results that players like Lex (Paeshuyse) and Archie (Self) have had, both becoming world champions last year.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Ethan to the Mission Academy. He is a young player with a lot of potential and more and more people have noticed his talent.
“Ethan has had a great year so far, winning a title in the Isle of Man and reaching a final on the JDC Foundation Tour. I’m excited to work with him and help continue his progress on the oche over the coming years.”
