Mission Darts is pleased to announce the signing of two-time Development Tour title winner Keelan Kay.
The 22-year-old from Plymouth has enjoyed a successful career in the youth ranks, winning numerous titles including the WDF World Cup Youth boys’ singles and pairs titles in 2019.
Nicknamed ‘Lord of the Board’, Kay opened his account in the PDC with a pair of tournament wins on the UK Development Tour two years later.
After narrowly missing out on a PDC tour card after finishing third on the Order of Merit in 2021, Kay has continued to make deep runs on both the Challenge and Development Tours. He also posted a 109.31 match average during one of his appearances in the MODUS Super Series.
On signing for Mission, he said: “Mission are an up and coming brand and I’m really thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the team. I look at some of the players doing well for Mission and hopefully I can follow in their footsteps.
“If I can have some of their success and do as well as them then I’ll be a very happy man. I’m excited to be here and I’m looking forward to much better times ahead.”
Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “Keelan is a young man who has so much potential and I’m happy to have him with us at Team Mission.
“He’s already achieved a lot in the game at a youth level, winning titles on the Development Tour and whilst representing England in World Cups and British Internationals. I can’t wait to work with him and hopefully help him take that next step in his career.”
