Kočik Pens New Deal With Mission

Mission Darts is pleased to announce a multi-year contract extension with Slovakian young talent Dominik Kočik.

The 16-year-old from Presov is a nine-time national champion in Slovakia and has been competing on the JDC Advanced Tour this year.

In January, ‘DinoDart’ won the last event at JDC Q-School to earn a two-year tour card to play on the JDC’s premier circuit.

A former quarter-finalist on the Advanced Tour, Kočik has also tasted success on the big stage after winning the boys’ under-14s title at the Dutch Open in 2022.

On extending his stay with Mission, Kočik said: “It’s a great opportunity to continue my partnership with Mission. I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for them.

“It’s been a great experience having a tour card and playing on the JDC Advanced Tour, and last weekend I also played on the PDC Development Tour for the first time.”

Darryl Fitton, Mission’s player development manager, added: “Dominik has made a lot of progress and it’s been incredible to see how much work he has put in to improve his game.

“He has great support from his family and his father takes him everywhere to all the different tournaments. They are so dedicated and I’m pleased that Mission will be continuing to support Dominik on his darts journey.

"Darts is on the rise in Slovakia too. We've just seen the PDC announce that there will be a Euro Tour event in Slovakia in 2026, which shows how much the interest in darts has grown over there."
